Abstract

Advancements in various components of computing have providing the facilities of the devices
incorporated with sensor that is connected with internetwhich provides the observations and take
measurements of data from the surroundings. It is predicted that 25 to 50 billion smart devices are
being used that are connected with internet and generating data.As technology is becoming vast day
by day, large count of data is being generated. The technology of devices with internet
facilitycommonly referred as IoT- Internet of Things.Various devices with internet is connected for
making the interaction easy between physical and cyber world. The large amount of data that
IoT generates is represented by the term velocity in terms of its dependency on location and time, with
different variety of multiple methods and varying quality of data. Thebig data analysis is the
fundamental key for generating the smart IoT application. Some machine learning methods will be
discussed in this paperwhich deals with the IoT data challenges by assuming the use cases of smart
city.
