Abstract

In the digital world era, handling and propagating large volume of heterogeneous data with high
velocity within the real time environment may be a challenging task. The methods for collecting,
storing, and analyzing data became insufficient in managing the rapidly growing volume of
information. With the appearance of social media, the data has begun to cross the bounds of a system,
server and even an information centre. Therefore, Big data is a prospective research area that has
efficient tactic of providing valuable information. As a result there are many technologies that have
been developed to face Big Data Challenges. The ultimate target is to endorse the correct blend of
varied technologies with respect to the technical and explicit functional needs. This paper is an
analysis that outlines latest technologies matured for Big Data discussing several challenges that are
caused by Big Data.
