Abstract

For thousands of years wind energy has been used for many mechanical applications like pumping of
water, milling grain, etc. Being the renewable resource wind farms does not emit any air pollution as
other conventional fossil-fuel-fired generators do. Present-day innovation for power generation is
commonly separated by the utilization of the term wind turbines. When these turbines are built into
the electric grid, the power stability gets affected because they are driven by fluctuating wind. To
increase the output power from wind turbines multiple wind turbines have been used and a
comparison between single and multiple wind turbines has been shown in graphical form in this
research paper by using MATLAB/Simulink.
