Smart Grid Implementation in India: A Review

Abstract

This paper is a review on Smart Grid implementation in India. Current Power grids having
unidirectional energy flow system. It does not detect fault automatically and is not self curable. The
difficulties are removed in Smart Grid which is present in Conventional Grid. It is bi-directional in
nature and self curable. This paper gives information regarding current status of smart grid in India
and also gives information regarding its communication techniques and its comparison with present
grid
