Abstract

In the present scenario, Non conventional energy sources are very much important for the generation
of electricity. Because the power generation by fossil sources has adverse effect on environment i.e. it
creates pollution and on the other hand the quantities of these sources are depleting day by day. So in
order to produce electricity without any type of pollution non-conventional energy sources is used.
Although electricity is produced by many types of non conventional energy sources but in this paper
only focus about electricity produce by solar PV,survey on the factors influencing theexecution of
solar PV cells and how the proficiency of solar PV cells is improved by using MPPT techniques,
utilization of DC-DC power converter is presented.
