The Effectiveness of Tourism Village Program on The Community Motivation at Meat Tourism Village Toba Samosir

Abstract

The aim of this study was to analyze the influence of the effectiveness of the tourism village program on the community motivation in developing tourist villages in the tourist village at Meat tourism village Toba Samosir, North Sumatera. The specific purpose of this study was to determine the effect of understanding the tourism village program, target accuracy, timeliness, achievement of goals and real change in the tourism village towards the community motivation in developing tourist villages at Meat tourism village, Toba Samosir North Sumatera. The samples of this research was the community (head of family) at Meat tourism village, Toba Samosir, North Sumatera, as many as 50 people taken by simple random sampling method. Data were collected through documentation studies, instruments, interviews and observations. To analyze the research data used multiple regression analysis techniques. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence between the effectiveness of the tourism village program on the community motivation in developing tourism villages at Meat tourism village, Toba Samosir North Sumatera. From the five indicators of the effectiveness of the tourism village program, based on the results of the study showed that the indicator of understanding the village program had a stronger influence on the community motivation in developing tourism villages at Meat tourism village Toba Samosir North Sumatera, followed by indicators of targeting accuracy, real change, achieving goals and punctuality.
