Abstract

With the ages of testing the SOC’s have taken the different scenarios due to the advent of advanced diagnostic tools and incorporation of VERIFICATION METHODOLOGY in chip level. Though  the advanced tools such as UVM s are used,   separate usage of the different tests for the devices are carried out manually and automatically  which consumes the more time, and more overhead. Hence high speed Testing and integration of the tools are the most challenging part and still remains in the darker side of the research. With this, new intelligent configuration tool called AVM (ARM BASED VERIFICATION) methodology has been proposed. The intelligent configuration software has been developed on Embedded ARM   architectures interfaced with the Programmable SOCs. The proposed tool AVM consist of two important stages such as the Pre-Processing and Intelligent Post-Processing phases in which the output test vectors are analyzed on the principles of Rule based framework which is based on Correlation Product of the test vectors. The proposed testing software characterized by the scalability, versatility, reconfiguration and user defined API Commands. The different benchmark circuits has been tested in the different SOC benchmarks in which the execution time and testing time has been reduced very effectively.
