Abstract

Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is intended to be a propitious antagonistic solution to the wireless communication multi-path fading medium. The use of Space Frequency Block Code OFDM signals which possess highly favorable access in immense flexible broadband wireless communication, for which the medium is extremely time and frequency limited due to this the receiver antenna is been exposure to Inter Symbol Interference(ISI) and Inter Carrier Interference(ICI). ISI betide owing to the infraction of the ‘quasi-static’ fading conjecture that gives rise to medium’s frequency and/or time selectivity. Furthermore, ICI betide because of medium’s time selectivity that repercussion in reduction of orthogonality amongst the other subcarriers. In this paper we put forward an iterative receiver for the SFBC OFDM system. By building allowance to this receiver, we put a solution to the most eloquent problem in OFDM systems have been dispensed, namely, Inter Carrier Interference.
