The Relationship between Counselling Self-Efficacy and Psychological Well-Being among School Counsellors

Abstract

Schools are an important institution in educating and building the potential for
students to be emotionally, physically, spiritually and intellectually balanced. Thus,
counsellors play a role in supporting the desire to produce students who are well-behaved
and of high moral character. However, school counsellors face many issues and
challenges that affect in psychological well-being, including stress, burnout, compassion
fatigue and emotional exhaustion.
