Transformation of the Theopreneurship-Based Learning Model in the Development of Santri's Self-Efficacy in Pesantren
Abstract
The output of pesantren is not ready to compete professionally in the job market.
However, pesantren has a characteristic as forming independent dimensions of santri
through religious spirit learning. This research aims to study the theopreneurship
education model and its relationship with the development of santri’s self-efficacy. The
research locations were Pabelan and Yajri Pesantren Payaman Magelang, Al Mukmin
Tembarak Temanggung Pesantren, and Darul Arqom Kendal Pesantren. An incidental
sample technique was used for a survey of all respondents, totaling 162 santri (student) at
the study site. Retrieval of data using interviews, documentation, observation, and
questionnaires. The validity and reliability tests were conducted on a research
questionnaire consisting of factors forming the santris' self-efficacy: theopreneurship
curriculum, learning infrastructure, and entrepreneurial motivation. Data analysis was
carried out qualitatively by the steps of data collection, data reduction, data presentation,
and drawing conclusions or verification. Quantitative analysis used regression analysis
techniques to determine the effect between variables. The results showed that
Theopreneurship curriculum variables had the largest contribution, then the second
variable that contributed to improving students 'self-efficacy was learning infrastructure
and finally, students' motivation had the least influence on self-efficacy. Thus,
theopreneurship curriculum variables and learning infrastructure have a positive effect
on self-efficacy, and santri motivation does not support the growth of self-efficacy.
