Does the E-Procurement Eradicate the Corruption?

(A Lesson from E-Procurement Practices in Indonesia)

Abstract

This paper aims to find out what benefits and challenges faced by local governments after the implementation of e-procurement system. Further, to elaborate why there is still disjunction, which use by local level government leader to exploit these practices by unfair action for their own benefit. Some benefits and challenges faced by local governments after the implementation of the e-procurement system. Moreover, the focus is how to eradicate the corruption using better system in local government to develop and manage e-procurement.
