Effectiveness of steel fiber and glass fiber with combination of manufacture sand and normal sand in Fresh and physical Properties of Self Consolidating Concrete

Abstract

Self Compacting Concrete no need to require any vibration and movement for the method of compaction process. It can passes with its own particular material weight, totally flows into the formwork and doing fully compaction process, it reduces sound pollution at construction sites areas. Self compact concrete and fiber steel are combined to create the steel fibre self-compacting concrete. This Present work about strength properties and workability studies on steel fibre reinforced self-compacting concrete of grade M40 with steel fibre. The mix proportions for self-compacting concrete were arrived at by performing proper mix design. In SCC the steel fibre total is 0.2%, 0.4%, 0.6% and 0.8% has been taken. These percentages were kept constant for all the mixes. Steel fibre percentage was different by total weight of concrete material. Adoption of steel fibres material exhibit an effective improvement in 7 days and 28 days flexural & split tensile strength compared to the conventional blend.
