Study on Retention of Fertilizers in Soil and its Impacts on Receiving Streams
Abstract
Appropriate plant food application is a decisive management observe to enhance soil fertility and quality in the Black cotton soil (BCS), Red soil (RS) and Gray soil (GS). In gift study, we tend to examined the chemical retention capability in many types of Soil and the Impacts of Fertilizers in Surface and Subsurface Water bodies. The application of Urea (CO(NH₂)₂), Di-ammonium Phosphate (DAP) and Potash (P) may result in the heavy metal enrichment of soil and availabilities of nutrients imbalance. On the other hand, one of the fertilizer are being utilized by the plant while the remaining fertilizer is unutilized could enter the surface soil and water bodies and may adversely affect the environment. the main surroundings concern embrace the eutrophication of H2O bodies and enrichment of the soil with serious cyanogenetic metal. The effects of large-scale plant food load on soil health, the effects on water bodies is also discussed.
