Abstract

The primary intent of this work is to detect the distrust node during routing of data transmission in the Mobile Ad-hoc Networks (MANET). Here, Reputation based Routing for Data Transmission (RRDT) scheme is proposed for improving routing efficiency.  The network is separated into group of clusters; head nodes are selected for each cluster on the basis of energy level and node reputation level. Receiving node will be noticing the behaviour of every node communicating in the system. Node reputation and the proposed scheme criteria shows better concert in regards of packet delivery rate, drop rate, throughput and better energy efficiency during data transmission.
