Abstract

Digital pilules (Digital pills)are basically multiple channel sensors used in the field of biotelemetry using micro technology. These multiple channel sensors are produced using electron beam and incorporation of photolithographic patterns that are operated by an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) as they are used in the concurrent calculation of tablet dose. Digital pilules are mini-mechanical devices that can be taken into the body representing a convergence point for the pharmaceutical industries and biomedical technology. Using electronic sensors and miniature robotic technology the body can be studied and controlled within. Changes are monitored in the outpatient and transmitted to a nearby monitor via wireless network.
