Disputes and Conflicting Factors in Construction Projects

Abstract

There are numerous number of members with different skills, abilities, various knowledge levels were included and the fights can’t be controlled. Disputes, Clashes and claims are considered to be key role in construction projects that results the tasks to unsuccessful. Distinguishing the reasons for clashes is one of the important work to complete the task on estimated time and cost. An important point in project is to find the primary reason for disputes and contentions in project works. To attain the aim, the author underwent a direct interview, literature study and classified the factors related with disputes and conflicts. Eight factors were framed and the major causes are identified. Ranking of factors causing disputes and conflicts were done.
