Optimal Option Drying Silkworm Cocoons With Preserving Qualitative Indicators
Abstract
In the world development of sericulture, much attention is paid to the study of the process of growing and processing silkworm cocoons. In this regard, the improvement of technologies, processes and apparatuses for the primary processing of silkworm cocoons is accompanied by the development of devices, including drying, to obtain quality products. The proposed technology for drying silkworm cocoons using low temperature using infrared radiation, elastic waves, vibration and convective heat supply is one of the most suitable methods for drying silkworm cocoons. The development of such equipment is a rather promising direction. Technological features of this process contribute to the achievement of high-quality drying of silkworm cocoons. Based on the theoretical results obtained, an experimental infrared vibration unit was developed named after Islam Karimov Tashkent state technical university for the primary processing of silkworm cocoons, which allows for optimal process parameters.
