Abstract

Throwing becomes a basic movement skill in the form of movements with limbs in a more
skilled manner. Throwing ball means moving object in the form of ball to move to certain
distance. When throwing ball, the force moment comes into play. The greater force moment, the
greater force generated by producing throw away or accurate results approaching target. The
study purposes were analyzed the angle and style of Boccia athlete which results in accurate
targeting of throwing underhand movement. The study was used descriptive analytical research
method with samples of 3 Boccia athletes. Data analysis was performed with dartfish software.
The results showed in player A experiment 3 produces better target accuracy compared
experiment 1 and experiment 2, this is because experiment 3 has an arm angle of 69.6°, throw
angle of 25°, speed of 0.040 m/s and force of 0.44 N. In player B experiment 2 produces a better
target accuracy compared experiment 1 and experiment 3, because experiment 2 has an arm
angle of 56.5°, throw angle of 27°, speed of 0.036 m/s and force of 0.48 N. Player C experiment
1 result better targeting accuracy when compared to experiment 2 and experiment 3, because
experiment 1 had arm angle of 98.1°, the throw angle of 20°, speed of 0.033 m/s and force of
0.24 N. The research conclusions are the series of underhand throwing boccia if want to produce
the throwing accuracy near the target, then start was done with an angle of 98.1° and force of
0.24 N
