Entrepreneurial Traits among Students: with special reference to the Agra Region

Abstract

Entrepreneurship has a great importance in building nation socially as well as economically one of the most important trait of an entrepreneur is the ability to take calculated risk supported by acumen and ability to strike at the right moment. In the present study, an attempt has been made to find the entrepreneurial traits among management students. The sample consisted of 150 management students from various institutes on whom “A Comprehensive Battery of Scales of Entrepreneurship” was administered.  The paper would attempt to provide suggestions for developing entrepreneurial skills in students based on the data analysis. The result of this study could act as a trigger and catalyst for inculcating entrepreneurial skills at schools and college level, thus giving impetus to young and budding entrepreneurs. Main conclusion is that test on entrepreneurial traits measures human development index which carries useful information about country‘s current development
