Identification of Financial Inclusion Indicators: An Indian Context
Abstract
The study aims at examining the indicators used to measure the progress and effectiveness of financial inclusion. Financial inclusion encounters major challenges in the path of success. The study uses both qualitative and quantitative literatures to evaluate the various indicators used and it identifies that Accessibility, Usage and quality constitute the primary indicators of financial inclusion in India. These indicators measure the progress and as have a responsibility in fulfilling its objectives to have a comprehensive financial inclusion in India.
