Abstract

Differential amplifier is one of the important operational block in many equipments. The function of the differential amplifier is to amplify the output signal based on the difference between two input signals. Difference Differential amplifier is nothing but it also a type of the differential amplifier. The output signal of the DDA is generally calculated from (1). Hence, there are four input signals are provided to the DDA. In this paper, DDA based application oriented circuits such voltage follower, instrumentation amplifier and precision rectifier are designed under sub-threshold region. The proposed DDA also extended to design the three types of filters such as low pass filter, high pass filter and band pass filters. All the circuits are powered by two sub-threshold supply voltages like 0.3V and 0.5V. The overall implementation is held in the LTSpice simulating platform. The designed circuits are verified by measuring the parameters such as Vout, Vavg, Vrms, Pavg and Eavg.
