Abstract

In their everyday life the visually impaired have to face many obstacles. If they fly to a new place the problem gets worse. Availability of voice based   guidance systems for navigating visually impaired people in order to provide better navigation is limited by currently available devices. No system works perfectly for indoor or outdoor applications. A technological advance is the use of an ultrasonic range scheme to build electronic walking stick for the blind. There is a great reliance on any type of movement or walking inside or outside the area in question. To resolve all of these blind people problems, a work needs to be developed using easy available technology. For blind people with multiple sensors, this walking stick has been able to enhance more functionality to the walking stick with the aid of sensors. The overall system aims to provide the blind with low-cost and efficient navigation assistance by providing information about the static and dynamic objects around them in the environmental scenario.
