Abstract

In our Day-to-Day lifestyle, technology plays a vital role in all our activities. Everything is becoming more Smarter, but still the way of teaching has not seems to be more efficient. It becomes impossible for the students to pay their full attention to a long duration physical Classroom Lectures. Some student may feel uneasy to be interactive inside the classroom lectures. Internet plays a vital role in learning system for harvesting the knowledge of students in recent technologies. At the same time, students have to be engage for a long time and have to use manyresources to extract the relevant information from massive volume of web content. Therefore, itclearly shows, such a manual approach is not affordable for real time applications. In order to overcome these circumstances, this project proposes a system that streams the videos of class lectures and screen activities. Sharing the screen activity may include, streaming of a presentation, demo on practical sessions, problem solving and exposure of real time applications. This may enable the lecturers to teach the concepts with more clarity. Additionally, another feature provides easiness for the students to learn concepts from web content. Most of the web information presents in unstructured format. The proposed system retrieves the unstructured data in user’s pattern and makes it useful. Therefore, students can do self-study on more recent technologies to harvest learning objects. The intention of this project is convert the traditional way of learning process into an Active Learning System. For that, a web application has developed, and it streams the videos of Class Lectures. The Video might be a past-class, pre-class, or screen content lectures. In addition, the web app enables the student to extract the web content in a relevant pattern. The admin will be the lecturer, who can do posting of video lectures. The students can listen to the contents and may utilize the feature of web information retriever to extract relevant data. This project combines the best practices of both traditional and e-learning system to deliver the Active Learning System.
