Feature Extraction using Essential Factor Investigator (ESI) on Apple Fruit Diseases

Abstract

Feature extraction play vital role in simplifying the quantity of resources necessary to describe a huge set of data accurately. Analysis of complex data depends on number of variables to be involved. But it requires huge amount of memory and computation speed. After the segmentation process, feature extraction is used to describe the characteristics of texture, shape, patterns, colors .Based on these features classification algorithm over fits the training. Texture featuresand color features are used to analyze the uniqueness of the object.Hence used to get accurate classification result. This research focus Texture features , color features, homogeneity and also extracts 16 visual characteristic of a segment image. This research takes the segmented image as input to proposed method Essential Factor Investigator (ESI) .
