Abstract

Rehabilitative technology playing vital role in replacing the better life for elderly disabled individuals
who affected with Motor Neuron Diseases (MND). The MND affect the neurons and damage the neurons
pathway so the affected persons were unable to communicate with others. So there is a need of
rehabilitative technique. Rehabilitative devices using bio signals are growing rapidly to replace the bio
channels without compromising the normal bio channels. Several types of bio signals are evolved from
human body, we are focussing the Electrooculogram (EOG) signals. The evolved analog signals are
capture using any type of bio amplifier and convert it into digital signals to control the external devices.
These external devices are called rehabilitative devices. Three major psychological signals like
Electrooculogram, Electroencephalogram and Electromyogram are playing major in developing the
rehabilitative devices. In our paper we focussed the development took place in the field of EOG based
rehabilitative devices.
