Impact of Teacher's Quality of Work Life of Private Colleges and Universities on Commitment

Abstract

This paper investigates impact of teacher's quality of work life (QWL) on their commitment towards work. A theoretical framework was developed for the purpose of examining the determinants of teachers’ QWL. Teacher's QWL measures in colleges/ universities in Jaipur and association between QWL variables and commitment are examined. Results suggest measures of teachers’ QWL are strongly related with teacher commitment. Findings are discussed and scope for improvement of teacher commitment are presented.
