ROLE OF SHARING OF KNOWLEDGE IN IMPROVING PERFORMANCE OF EMPLOYEES

Abstract

In public organizations, the ability of individuals to do work is the spearhead of the organization. One of the organizations is the city/regency government which has the principle of protecting the community. So that the quality, quantity, and timeliness in completing work is important to improve government performance. This study contributes to the government, in particular, the District of Serang by analyzing transformational leadership, organizational culture, knowledge sharing, and employee performance. The approach used is quantitative by using PLS-SEM. The sample used was 282 employees based on the number of structural positions. The results showed that transformational leadership, organizational culture, and knowledge sharing affect employee performance. Transformational leadership does not affect knowledge sharing, while organizational culture affects. The findings in this study are expected to be able to be considered by the Serang Regency government in the process of improving employee performance by maintaining the process of sharing existing knowledge.
