CPW Fed Ultra Wide Band Antenna with Triple Band Rejection Characteristics

Abstract

A Novel CPW fed ultra-wide band antenna with Triple band notch characteristics is presented in this manuscript. Band suppression is achieved by introducing various slot shapes in the radiating patch which removes the three interfering major bands, first band suppression is (7.2to8.1GHz) X band satellite signals, WLAN(4.9GHz to 6.1 GHz) band, WIMAX band (3.2to 3.6GHz).The proposed antenna exhibits a UWB functional Bandwidth from 2.93GHz to 13.35GHz.Its dimensions are 24.45mm*24.45mm*1.6mm.The model and its results are presented in detail.
