Design and Implementation of U-Shape Microstrip Patch Antenna for Bio-Medical Application

Abstract

In modern times, the broad band antenna improves the high-speed and the high-frequency data communication which utilized for designing the new devices. The antenna is easily concealed to inside the packages, by influencing the appropriate devices for the consumer. Unfortunately, the narrow frequency bandwidth of microstrip patch antenna which blocks its utilization in typical systems of communication. Although, the frequency bandwidth extendes a wide band of microstrip antenna would exhibit a useful in commercial applications, for instance , 2.5G, 3 G and 4G Wireless systems, Wireless Local Area Networks (WLAN) Kumar et al., (2015). The strategy of converting the source of raw energy into electrical energy its called as energy harvesting. Energy harvesting is the process of capturing small amounts of energy from one or more of energy sources. These sources naturally occuring in the same. In this research work, the U-shaped Microstrip patch antenna has been designed for RF energy harvesting application.
