Survey Based on Mobile Phones Usage among Students and Teachers

Abstract

With the advancement in technology going on, there is a device which is called Mobile Phone came into existence in early 2000. This device became popular among today’s young generation. Since when the Internet feature is added on Mobile Phones the usages as well as popularity of Mobile Phones were high among youngsters. This Mobile Phone is acting as attractive device for today’s young generation as they could able to do much fun over there. They somehow using this device in more extent in terms of number of hours usage and which is affecting their state of mind or thinking process and also it is affecting their health or eyes badly. This research study is conducted in order to evaluate proper Mobile Phones usage among students as well teachers of CHITKARA UNIVERSITY HIMACHAL PRADESH. A survey approach is followed where around 300 respondents were asked questions through pen-paper based survey form as well as Google forms and the questions were quite general which includes purpose of using Mobile Phones, number of hours usage and several other questions. Results are collected from them and evaluated which will be discussed in further sections of this study. Moreover this survey intends to provide some measures/ techniques to avoid excess usage of Mobile Phones.
