Architecture of an IoT-based Women Safety System

Abstract

Nowadays, India is the most popular country in the globe for its secularism, mannerism, culture and many more. Women and girl child have always been a mark of respect here. Therefore, Women Safety is very precious and important. However, nowadays their safety is not up to the marks. Every day in newspaper, we see headlines of misbehavior with women. There have been many steps taken for improving their safety and security. Internet of Things is a new paradigm that combines the various technologies to make easy our lives. Today’s innovative technology can protect and secure women and girls by diagnosing the issue and responding faster to the needed services. In this paper, we propose an IoT based architecture for the safety of Women and girls, called IoT Women Safety. Our proposed system aims to embed telecommunication technologies, One machine to machine (M2M), and real time monitoring in order to maintain safety and respond very fast in case of any mishappening. The aim is to create an IoT environment, in street lights it is the form of new modernized safety lights.
