APPLYING E-COMMERCE OF WEB-BASED QUALITY ACCOUNTING INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES (MSMEs) IN SERVICES SECTOR

Abstract

This research has the spirit to encourage and improve the competitiveness of small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) service companies in improving their competition through the use of accounting information systems that are supported by the use of e-commerce. Accounting information systems serve the processing of data into accounting information within the company. With e-commerce, sales transactions of accounting information systems for the sale of MSME services can reach a wide area and even the world. the method used is the Prototyping method. One of the contributions of this research is a web-based information system design that includes e-commerce. The results of this research and development can be used for MSME activities for business processes and financial reporting. For MSMEs using a web-based accounting information system that includes e-commerce, it is expected that the direct marketing/direct marketing coverage of MSMEs will increase the contribution of MSMEs to the economic sector. Based on this reason, we are interested in conducting research as well as developing models with the title of developing MSME accounting information systems in the web-based service sector. as the object of research is the need for umkm accounting information systems, the method used is the prototyping method. With the creation of an interactive web-based accounting information system, it is expected to be able to solve several problems faced by MSMEs and be able to provide more precise and accurate information. The final result to be achieved in this research and development is a web-based quality MSME accounting information system model by implementing e-commerce.
