Abstract

In this paper, we propose a new band pass filter (BPF) using of the metal insulator metal (MIM) based on a plasmonic nanoplasmonic tri-band dual-ring angular resonator. The reflection and transmission coefficients are analyzed using very easy techniques. The plasmonic tri-band dual-ring angular resonator is designed by cascading two-notch ring resonators. Resonator-A operates at O and E band, similarly, resonator-B operates at O and L band respectively. The resonator A and B are cascaded in order to design a tri-band dual-ring angular resonator. By the use of simulation software tool, a fullwave simulation is to be performed. The filter is very useful in applications like a photonic integrated circuit (PICs).
