Detection of Opinion Spam Using LSTM Networks

Abstract

Online reviews are playing an important role in today’s e-commerce. Most of the customers are going through the reviews and ratings which are given already by people previously, for taking decision what to buy and where to buy. There is several e- commerce websites and apps to buy the product but one of the major things are fake reviews and ratings. Thus, fake reviews are affecting the stores and e- commerce websites of their rating and impressions. Opinion spam detection attracted many researches in recent years, the problem is far from solved. In this paper, we aim to give an overview to detect opinion spam using existing approaches and focuses on the method to detect the Opinion spam using neural network model.
