Gamification of Work: The overview of Behavior and Performance Expectation on Drivers of online Transportation
Abstract
Gamification is a term which attracts the attention of academician, practitioner, and business professionals in various domains. This term has entered various business scopes to become interesting research. The purpose of this research is to analyze work satisfaction and motivation obtained and find out the model of performance behaviour of online drivers. This research presented a qualitative descriptive survey to obtain in-depth data about the perception of Gamification of work utilization (GofW) in online transportation. The interview was conducted on 30 online drivers (Go-Jek and Grab) in big cities of Central Java. This research is for digging more in-depth about the usage of Gamification in the elaboration of online driver behaviour effect in achieving the performance and how are the satisfaction and motivation obtained. The results of this research show that individual behaviour in achieving the performance through GofW issues e-person oriented performance, individual satisfaction behaviour in implementing GofW system, and individual cognitive behaviour and the individual performance expectation in implementing GofW system.
