Abstract

Vehicular Ad-hoc network (VANET) is the recent technology which provides vehicle to vehicle communication (VTV) and vehicle to infrastructure communication (VTI). It faces lot of challenges in delivery the data with less latency and high packet delivery ratio. Traditional broadcast based VANET routing algorithm lacks in global information which leads to inefficient routing schemes. Software defined vehicular network (SDVN) is the recently emerged technology which provides the global network information. In VANET it’s tough for the packet to reach the destination due to increase in vehicle speed and varying vehicle density. This paper focus on routing algorithms and its route installation techniques to transmit the message with less latency and high packet delivery ratio
