PROBLEMS OF SURGICAL TACTICS FOR THE TREATMENT OF DIABETIC FOOT SYNDROME
Abstract
According to the World Health Organization data, the number of people suffering from diabetes mellitus increases by 1.5-1.6 million annually. Besides, 2.3-2.4 million people worldwide have high blood glucose content. The International Diabetes Federation (IDF) experts believe that by 2040 the total number of diabetes patients will increase to 640 million. Therefore, diabetes has become an urgent medical and social problem.
