INTERPRETATION AND ARTISTIC FUNCTION OF THE CONCEPT OF FAQR IN ALISHER NAVOI’S LYRICS
Abstract
The article considers the artistic interpretations of the concept of “faqir” (a person who is in a poverty) associated with mysticism in Alisher Navoi's lyrics and the peculiarities of the image of “faqir”, which is widely used in his poetry. The fundamentals of the idea of “faqir” as an artistic idea and the artistic function of faqir in a poetry are analyzed in his lyrical example. The article also examines the interpretations of the concept of poverty in relation to basic terms that represent mystic concepts such as self, gratitude, consensus, trust, patience, and satisfaction, and provide sound conclusions.
