Abstract

The Mono suspension is one of the options an engineer can look at, to enhance the handling behaviour of motorcycles. It also ensures stability and the centralization of mass. The mono suspension concentrates on front seat alone but pillion doesn’t have the safety for the pillion passenger during an impact or accident. Here, we consider the change in structure, damping force and position to eliminate the accidental hazards for the pillion passenger. Inorder to solve these issues, a study has been taken to essentially help in designing vehicles with good comfort for riding, mobility and increased safety by gratifying the stringent standards. In this research work an investigation has been carried using SOLID WORKS and ANSYS for design validation analysis thereby the obtained results enable to achieve the required solution.
