Fabrication and Characterization of Aluminium and Carbon Fiber Laminate Composite

Abstract

Metal fiber laminate plays animportant material strengthening role in the field of various engineering application and also plays a main part in industries. And now it is identified that by vacuum compression method and their properties includes tensile, flexural, compression and impact the carbon fiber laminated with aluminium are fabricated that are studied to be suitable in low weight structural applications. The different destructive and non- destructive tests are performed as per ASTM standard. The physical and mechanical properties of the metal laminated fiber increases due to lamination of aluminium with carbon fiber since it has very good adhesive properties. General trends are noted and with further research and development it is recommended that on composites containing carbon fibers in a matrix of high strength aluminium alloy.
