Enhancement in Manet Performance Using Trust based Secured Anonymous Routing

Abstract

Mobile Ad hoc Network’s traditional routing algorithms are indented for non-adversarial topology setting assuming that the network nodes can be trusted. The security in routing protocol is jeopardized in realsituations when it gets attacked by misbehavior nodes that interruptthe data communication. Collaboration/cooperation is critical and challenging to manage trust in Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET). Defining/managing MANET’s trust needs handshaking messages  between all the nodes in the network to be considered taking into account resources like bandwidth, communication link, energy saved and dynamics of MANETs. In this paper, an anonymous authenticated onion based routing protocol was proposed to improve performance of the network.
