REPRESENTATION OF THE NATIONAL PICTURE OF THE WORLD IN LITERARY TRANSLATION
Abstract
The article focuses on the role and significance of the theory of cognitive dissonance in the definition of adequate translations and the philosophical essence of such concepts as the "picture of the world" and the "national picture of the world", and it is also reported that the term "picture of the world”was introduced in science by physicist G.Gertz, and later I. Kant and M. Plank defined and extended it. The author presents the results of a thorough study of the scientific works of Uzbek and foreign specialists in the sphere of translation, devoted to the investigation of the national picture of the world and studies were devoted to the role and significance of realias, paremias, phraseological units in translating literary texts.
