ADVANTAGES OF BLENDED LEARNING IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING

Abstract

 The advent of information technology in teaching foreign languages has led to the emergence of relatively new method-blended learning. This combination of online environments with face-to-face learning is called blended learning. The aim in blended learning is to combine the benefits of these two environments in a harmonious way.The article focuses on the method of blended learning in teaching English. It also analyzes advantages of using the technology of blended learning in the process of teaching a foreign language and compares it with the traditional model of education and its effectiveness in modern education.
